The 4th Annual Austin Riddle Memorial Scholarship

It's an honor to see the tradition continue with the 4th Annual Austin Riddle Memorial Scholarship in memory of a past NCJRA Member.

Austin Riddle (1994-2022) was a member from the age 6 to 18. During his long junior rodeo career he competed in calf riding, boys breakaway, boys goat tying, steer riding, bull riding, and bareback riding.

Austin made incredible friends and memories throughout these years and was proud to be a member of this great organzation.

NCJRA would like to honor his memory by helping a Sr. Cowboy or Sr. Cowgirl as they leave this association to continue their education, and hopefully their rodeo career, elsewhere.

We have three academic scholarships available this year.

$1,500 will be awarded to the top Sr. Cowboy or Sr. Cowgirl.

We are also awarding two $1,000 scholarships to one Sr. Cowboy and one Sr. Cowgirl.

All graduated Seniors (class of 2026) and incoming Seniors (class of 2027) are eligible. Members can apply two years in a row. The recipients of the Austin Riddle Memorial Scholarship will not be eligible twice. Please fill out only one application per member.
